Construction Project Manager – Ground-Up, Base Building & Interiors in Wilmington, NC
Join a respected GC delivering ground‑up, interior, and renovation projects in Wilmington, NC. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, working alongside a sharp team of construction professionals and serving as the key point of coordination for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
What You’ll Do
• Manage full project lifecycle: preconstruction, buyout, subcontracting, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Draft and negotiate subcontracts and oversee contract administration
• Lead monthly billing, progress documentation, and cost‑to‑complete analysis
• Drive design changes, evaluate impacts, and resolve outstanding change requests with the Owner
About the Company

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical background
• 5 years of construction management experience, including 2–3 projects of $20M
• Strong skills in contract management, buyout, scheduling, budgeting, and cost monitoring
- Experience managing design changes and negotiating related costs
