Compensation: Competitive base salary

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

About the Role:

A respected healthcare organization is seeking multiple Medical Physicists to join radiation oncology teams across various cities in Texas. Each center is a modern, community-based cancer facility offering advanced radiation therapy and HDR brachytherapy services.

These roles offer excellent opportunities to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, Therapists, and other Physicists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual QA of radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems.
  • Calibrate and maintain linear accelerators and dosimetry instruments in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and verify treatment plans in collaboration with Radiation Oncologists and Dosimetrists.
  • Support HDR, SRS, SBRT, and IMRT treatment procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all radiation safety and quality management protocols.
  • Participate in audits, process improvements, and clinical project initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of a CAMPEP-accredited residency in Medical Physics.
  • Valid Texas Medical Board license (or eligibility).
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification or board eligibility.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified Medical Physicist.
  • Experience with Varian linear accelerators, Eclipse, or Oncentra treatment planning systems.
  • Familiarity with MOSAIQ or ARIA oncology information systems.
  • Experience with HDR, SBRT, and SRS procedures.
