The Onboarding Specialist/Recruiter is directly responsible for the new hire orientations within the organization and will also have recruiting responsibilities for new employees.

Education/Learning Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Work Experience
Required: 2 years of recruiting or related work experience
Desired: High volume recruiting in healthcare
Skills/Knowledge
Required: Knowledge of and ability to use techniques to identify, select, retain, and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions. Attention to details with excellent follow through.
Licenses/Certifications
Desired: HR Certification – PHR or SHRM-CP

The Onboarding Specialist/Recruiter is directly responsible for the new hire orientations within the organization and will also have recruiting responsibilities for new employees.
Recruiter/ Onboarding Specialist Major Responsibilities:
Recruiting:
- Manage online applicant tracking systems; preparing job postings and keeping information up to date on candidate’s status through the application/hiring process.
- Consult with hiring managers to develop interview questions to ensure interviews are conducted efficiently.
- Work with hiring managers on the status of job vacancies and the status of candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews, and evaluate candidates for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers positions.
- Coordinate in person interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Make recommendations to hiring managers on candidates and salaries.
- Prepare and extend job offer information for the candidate to begin pre-employment screenings.
- Ensures required documentation for new employee is obtained and coordinates new hire process.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Conduct new employee orientations for virtual and on-site employees on a weekly basis, ensuring employees are aware of company systems, benefits, etc.
- Gather information for, assemble, and send out new hire welcome kits to all new hires.
- Collaborate with our IT department to schedule the IT onboarding for all new hires.
- Collaborate with Sales operations to schedule IT and HR orientations for onsite and remote sales hires
- Handle inventory and ordering of welcome kit supplies
- Work closely with pharmacy directors and hiring managers regarding updates about their incoming new hires
- Utilize Monday.com board to communicate with IT, Sales, and Operations Training teams regarding the status of new hires
- Communicate with all new hires via email and over the phone to provide first day instructions and field any questions
