Assistant Vice President

Overview:

Once Upon A Preemie, Inc is seeking a dynamic Assistant Vice President (AVP) to lead organizational operations and active grant programs.

Duties include: leading maternal health grant projects, including managing funder/partner and relationships with policy and decision makers. Lead meetings with clinical leadership within hospitals and community based organizations to establish partnership strategies. The AVP will manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and evaluation reports. This role will also represent the company externally at high visiblity meetings. The AVP will also support

Alongside company President, the AVP will also lead internal operations including strategic project planning, Board relations, hire, and manage vendors/staff members. The AVP will be detailed oriented, and have the ability to multi-task, while communicating status updates on organizational and program updates to executive leadership, funders, and organizational partners. This position will grow with the company and transition from Contractor to FTE with performance.

Once Upon A Preemie, Inc is a non-profit organization that leads education and empowerment services for the healthcare community and for families. We are currently seeking a dynamic consultant to serve as AVP to lead programs while supporting internal operations.

Education/Experience

• BA/BS University Degree with a concentration in public health, public administration, marketing, sales, or business administration preferred
• A minimum of five years of industry experience
• Team management and development experience required
• Knowledge of public health, maternal health, heath equity, required, perinatal and neonatal health a plus
• Project management experience preferred
• Event planning experience a plus
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), strong attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment
• Board management and media experience a plus

Job Type: Full-Time Contractor to FTE

Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience. No healthcare benefits are offered at this time.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm EST. Weekends and Evenings as needed
