Position: Underground Field Lead

Position Overview
The Field Lead supports the Field Services Supervisor in leading and developing local branch technicians through mentoring, training, and on-site guidance. This role bridges field operations and office administration, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to company standards, and alignment with organizational goals. The Field Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high-quality service delivery, driving team productivity, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor, train, and support field technicians to ensure quality workmanship and professional development.
- Coordinate closely with the Field Services Manager and office administration to align workflow between field staff and office staff.
- Perform and support technicians with add/moves/changes for drops, conduit, mainline, and maintenance communication construction.
- Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair service issues.
- Monitor and help achieve productivity goals, identifying efficiencies and recommending improvements to management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly communicating services performed and additional service opportunities.
- Foster teamwork and contribute to a positive, solutions-focused work environment.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are properly serviced, maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of all service work.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
