Outside Sales Rep

As a Sales Representative, you will work directly with homeowners to assess roofing needs, 
provide professional estimates, and guide customers through the sales process with 
honesty and care. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented, reliable, friendly, and thrives in a 
fast-paced, team-driven environment. The Sales Representative will report to the On Top 
Roofing Sales Manager. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Work warm leads AND generate your own leads through a variety of methods 
including but not limited to door knocking, referrals, social media, Facebook groups, 
networking, cold calling, etc. 
• Willingness to inspect a roof and measure
• Familiarity and success with a one-call close sales approach
• Own the roofing jobs from initial lead to installation, with cross team support every 
step of the way
• Ensure necessary documentation is entered into our CRM for all jobs sold
• Provide clean paperwork to Operations to get roofing jobs scheduled quickly
• Abide by all sales policies and guidelines in a professional and productive manner 
as set forth by the company 
• Ability to use a tablet and our CRM software, estimating tools, and email. Training 
will be provided
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications/Skills: 
• Exceptional communication skills – comfortable speaking with homeowners, 
explaining roofing options and negotiating 
• Professional, trustworthy and responsive 
• Proven track record in sales, preferably door-to-door sales
• B2B sales experience
• Coachable attitude – we’ll train you, just bring the work ethic
• Strong negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset
• A willingness to be proactive and search for new leads
• Roofing knowledge is a plus but not required
• Comfortable working some evenings/weekends when needed and traveling across 
multiple job sites
• Valid Utah driver’s license required. Company vehicle provided
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug pre-employment screen
 

Education and/or experience:
• 1 year or more of Outside Sales experience, preferably door-to-door sales, 
residential roofing sales experience or roofing sales/installation experience in an 
adjacent field
• 2-5 years of Customer Service experience

• Paid training
• Monthly bonus potential

Salary : $72,000 - $250,000
