About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven IT Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on selling technology solutions, including managed IT services, VoIP/UCaaS systems, cybersecurity products, cloud solutions, and network infrastructure, to small, mid-sized and large businesses in and around New York.
The ideal candidate is energetic, consultative, and comfortable communicating technical value in simple, business-focused terms. This role includes a competitive commission structure based on conversion percentage, giving high performers strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the three states
- Conduct sales presentations, demos, and discovery sessions with potential clients
- Develop a strong understanding of IT services, VoIP solutions, cybersecurity offerings, and cloud technologies
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead to close
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and solution recommendations tailored to client needs
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure accurate scoping and deployment
- Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage renewals and upsells
- Attend networking events, local business meetups, and industry functions to generate leads
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, especially IT or technology-related products and services
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity services, remote troubleshooting, and IT solutions
- Knowledge of risk assessment, compliance standards, and incident management in the digital space
- Ability to identify customer needs and create tailored sales approaches
- Effective collaboration skills to work with sales, technical, and customer support teams
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is advantageous
