On The Wall Painting is looking for a skilled, dependable Painter/Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship. This position is ideal for someone who is experienced in residential painting and is also comfortable performing exterior carpentry repairs, including replacing damaged trim and wood before painting.
Responsibilities
- Complete high-quality residential interior and exterior painting
- Perform thorough prep work including scraping, sanding, caulking, masking, and priming
- Replace rotted or damaged exterior trim boards, fascia, corner boards, and other wood components
- Install and repair exterior siding and trim as needed
- Fill, patch, and repair wood surfaces before painting
- Spray, brush, and roll finishes with professional results
- Protect landscaping, windows, roofs, and customer property
- Maintain a clean, organized job site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow company quality standards and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional residential painting experience preferred
- Strong exterior carpentry experience
- Ability to identify wood rot and perform proper repairs
- Experience replacing trim, fascia, corner boards, and exterior wood components
- Comfortable using sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
