A Polaris & Can AM Off Road and Side-by-Side Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all Polaris and Can-Am Off Road and Side-by-Side vehicles. This role requires extensive knowledge of Off Rode Vehicle applications, systems, and components. The mechanic performs inspections, troubleshoots issues, and ensures vehicles are in optimal working condition, providing excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in Polaris Off Road and Side-by-Side vehicles. Perform repairs and all maintenance tasks. Replace damaged or worn-out parts with genuine components.
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Inspect and adjust vehicle components to ensure proper functionality and safety. Perform scheduled services according to Polaris maintenance guidelines.
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on the latest Polaris & Can Am models, technologies, and repair techniques. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues timely and accurately.
Customer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and timely service.
Documentation:
Provide accurate reporting of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in automotive or small engine repair is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Off Road and Side-by-Side systems and components.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various tools and equipment.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and repair methods.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a repair workshop environment.
- May be required to lift heavy parts and equipment.
- Work hours may include weekends.
Pay:
- Pay will be determined by candidate qualifications with at minimum $20/hr.
