2nd Shift Cooks Needed

On-Site Staffing Services is looking for individuals with culinary skills and experience as cooks to join their Dining & Culinary Services team in the Madison, WI area on the 2nd shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs a variety of food preparation activities and related tasks according to quality and safety standards in dining, retail, and/or catering venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals.

· 40% performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities, including cook-to-order and specialty foods

· 15% trains and guides student workers

· 15% greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities

· 15% cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas

· 15% adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures

TASK

· Demonstrate and role model exceptional customer service

· Interact with English-speaking customers while displaying knowledge of food products, allergens, and food safety

· Perform duties in a high-volume, dynamic, student residential dining environment

· Perform food production to include batch cooking, cook-to-flow, and made-to-order display cooking

· Provide support and assist as needed in the implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency

REQUIREMENTS

· 1 Year of food production or professional cooking experience preferred

· Preferred ServSafe Certification

· Company continues to follow necessary health and safety protocols to protect the company from COVID-19. All employees remain subject to the COVID-19 Workplace Safety Policy. Vaccination is not required.

· Must be able to pass a background and drug screening

Sunday 12:30 pm-9 pm
Monday off,
Tuesday through Friday 12:30 pm- 9 pm
Saturday OFF

Week 2.
Sunday off,
Monday 12:30 pm- 9 pm
Tuesday 12:30 pm- 9 pm
Wednesday off
Thursday through Saturday 12:30 PM- 9 PM
