Based in Nampa, Idaho On-Site Material Handling is an authorized distributor for multiple manufacturers. We have a large selection of new and used inventory for customers. In addition to new and used inventory, we carry an extensive rental fleet to meet our customers' temporary and seasonal needs. Our expert team delivers a full spectrum of services—from equipment sales and fleet maintenance to dock installation and ongoing support. We work across key sectors including construction, manufacturing, agriculture, warehousing, and general contracting. Our mission? Keep American Working!

We are hiring an Outside Sales Representative who is a driven and experienced Material Handling Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.

Pay: Base plus Commissions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build solid relationships with prospective clients. We want folks who value long-lasting relationships with their customers—not transactional interactions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for material handling equipment, particularly forklifts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the material handling industry while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of material handling solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products and services.

About you:

You are a results-oriented sales professional with a passion for the material handling industry and a track record of success You’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence by identifying opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and becoming a trusted partner to our customers. You are ready to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the material handling industry selling equipment like forklifts.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and technologies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
