Process Engineer (Wet Clean)

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in WETs processing within the semiconductor industry. Skills: Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and wet chemical processes. Proficient in SPC, DOE, and data analysis Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $98,700 to $133,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Understand and optimize processes and procedures in the WETs processing area. Plan and execute experiments for new technologies and process improvements. Drive yield enhancement, throughput optimization, and cost reduction initiatives. Perform advanced data analysis and apply SPC and DOE methodologies. Respond promptly to out-of-control process conditions and implement corrective actions. Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials. Prioritize production support while balancing development and improvement projects. Generate and maintain detailed process documentation and specifications. Train and support Production Operators and Process Technicians. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support factory-wide goals.
