Job Description
- This position is responsible for having a comprehensive knowledge of all PROS regulations.
- This position will evaluate and assist teams to maintain compliance with and operationalize all local, state and federal rules and regulations including but not limited to those mandated by OMH, CMS, CARF, and NYS Justice Center.
- This position will attend and participate in internal and external meetings as guided by supervision.
- This position will coordinate with the program directors in preparing for external audits, such as those for CARF reaccreditation and OMH licensing (operating certificate) by conducting special reviews and developing guidance documents for staff regarding chart and site presentation.
- This position conducts reporting to prevent billing errors and identify trends to address through trainings. This position will work collaboratively with Behavioral Health leadership in order to ensure continuous process improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of applicable local, state and federal regulations and guidelines (including but not limited to: OMH, CMS, CARF)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Organized with the ability to pay attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed Professional Staff: LMSW, LCSW, LMHP, LMFT, LAC, RN
