What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Automotive Technician position at On Pointe Automotive?
On Pointe Automotive is a growing, well-reviewed independent shop in downtown Prescott. We're looking for an experienced lead tech who's fast, accurate, and takes pride in fixing it right the first time.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose and repair all makes and models: check-engine lights, drivability, electrical, brakes, suspension, and maintenance
- Keep work moving through the bays efficiently
- Help train and guide our newer techs
- Pitch in wherever the shop needs it. We're a small team and everyone helps out.
What we're looking for:
- 5 years of shop experience with strong diagnostic skills
- ASE certifications preferred
- Your own tools and a valid AZ driver's license
- Reliable, honest, and a team player
Pay: $25-$30/hr depending on experience, plus a weekly productivity bonus. The faster and more accurate you are, the more you earn.
