What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at On Line Design, Inc.?
On Line Design is currently looking for a full-time lab technician to work in Mason, Ohio for approximately 6 months. In this role, you will conduct laboratory tests, make lab batches, and conduct stability studies in an R&D process lab. This role will include qualitative and quantitative analyses (including experiment set up, clean up, data entry in Excel, and data distribution). You are expected to maintain a clean and orderly lab environment and ensure that lab safety requirements are met. You will need 1-2 years of laboratory experience, which may include co-ops, have a working knowledge of Excel, and a degree in a related discipline such as Chemistry or Biology.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes to generate lab batches for stability studies.
- Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests including experiment set-up, clean-up, data collection and entry, and data distribution
- Supporting technical lab testing for device development including performing technical measurements, assembling components, and setting up experiments
- Maintaining a clean and orderly lab environment
- Following safety guidelines
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the laboratory
- Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- A degree in a related field such as Chemistry or Biology
