New Day Recovery is a leading inpatient substance use treatment provider serving adult men and women in both detox and residential levels of care.
We are seeking an experienced, licensed clinical leader (LPCC-S, LISW-S, or LICDC-CS) to provide supervision and oversight of clinical services within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role is best suited for a clinician who brings strong regulatory knowledge, confidence in clinical decision-making, and a commitment to developing staff and maintaining high standards of care.
This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring clinical quality, documentation integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to counselors and clinical staff in accordance with Ohio licensing requirements
- Review, approve, and sign clinical documentation
- Conduct chart audits to ensure compliance with Medicaid, CARF, and OhioMHAS standards
- Monitor and enforce documentation quality, timeliness, and medical necessity
- Lead and facilitate clinical team meetings, trainings, and ongoing staff development
- Support onboarding and training of new clinical staff
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, case management, and support staff to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective care
- Provide guidance on client care decisions, including level of care, risk management, and crisis response
- Assist in maintaining a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Support program compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting body requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Ohio licensure as one of the following:
- LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation)
- LISW-S (Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation)
- LICDC-CS (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor – Clinical Supervisor)
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in substance use and/or co-occurring treatment
- Prior supervision or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ASAM criteria, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in detox and/or residential treatment preferred
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skill
