Job Summary (Looking for all levels of Maintenance and Manufacturing Experience.)
We are seeking different levels for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join a team in Traverse City. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and systems. (Pending your experience) - If you are a higher level tech you will have more responsibilities than a lower level tech. Our client will have multiple projects in the coming months so there will be no need to worry about job security as long as you perform and show up.
Responsibilities (Pending Experience)
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes swiftly.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and schedule preventive tasks.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Repair and maintain industrial equipment including welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems, and field service machinery.
- Assist with troubleshooting pneumatic systems and performing analysis to optimize machine performance.
- Support manufacturing operations by providing technical assistance during new equipment installations or upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols by operating scissor lifts safely and following lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and electrical blueprints for complex repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by working efficiently with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

- Manufacturing experience
- Maintenance Technician experience is a plus.
