Assembly Worker

Job Summary (Any level of candidate)

Looking for someone who would like to get in manufacturing or has been on an assembly line for 10 years. Looking for someone who can operate a forklift or is willing to learn. Someone who is willing and able to show up on time with a good attitude.

Duties

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints to guide assembly processes
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure accuracy
• Fabricate parts or assemblies according to specifications, including welding and machining tasks when required
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper assembly procedures
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the facility
• Conduct quality checks using precision instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly
• Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to manual handling guidelines

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and interpretation of technical drawings is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering, welding, and fabrication techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of pneumatic tools, machining processes, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is beneficial
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately for efficient assembly workflows
• Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures related to manual handling, PPE use, and industrial equipment operation

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
