Duties
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment according to detailed schematics and blueprints
- Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing instructions, and production documents to ensure precise assembly
- Measure parts with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math techniques to verify specifications
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure components meet strict tolerances and standards
- Use mechanical blueprint interpretation skills to identify correct parts and assembly sequences
- Handle manual tasks including soldering, machining, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during assembly processes.
Experience
- Prior manufacturing experience is not required but preferred. Must be willing to learn.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering, welding and fabrication techniques is a bonus.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures to manual handling, PPE use and other industrial equipment operations.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
