Looking for someone who would like to get in manufacturing or has been on an assembly line for 10 years. Looking for someone who can operate a forklift or is willing to learn. Someone who is willing and able to show up on time with a good attitude.
Duties
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints to guide assembly processes
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure accuracy
- Fabricate parts or assemblies according to specifications, including welding and machining tasks when required
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper assembly procedures
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the facility
- Conduct quality checks using precision instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly
- Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to manual handling guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and interpretation of technical drawings is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering, welding, and fabrication techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of pneumatic tools, machining processes, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is beneficial
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately for efficient assembly workflows
- Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures related to manual handling, PPE use, and industrial equipment operation
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
