Job Summary - Hiring all 3 levels of Machinist (Operator, Machinist, Programmer)
We are seeking multiple highly motivated Machinists to join our manufacturing team. We are hiring for 3 different levels of Machinist and roles will change based on your experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about machining, fabrication, and manufacturing excellence to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities - Will Vary based on Skillset
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and other industrial equipment with precision and efficiency
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CNC programming software to produce complex parts
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions
- Troubleshoot and maintain machinery such as Fanuc controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial equipment to minimize downtime
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to safety standards in production environments
- Assist in fabrication tasks including welding, assembly, tooling setup, and materials handling as needed for project completion
Skills
- Proficiency with CNC programming languages and CAM software for efficient machine setup and operation
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical blueprint interpretation
- Experience operating various manufacturing equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, and welding tools
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design review and modifications
- Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, and micrometer gauges for quality control
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues quickly to minimize production delays
- Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing facilities including proper use of hand tools and materials handling procedures
- Basic math skills necessary for machining calculations and measurements
- Experience working in factory or manufacturing environments with a focus on quality assurance and process improvement
