Position:
Omsum Engineering is seeking to recruit several Construction Inspector(s) to provide construction inspection services on various Road & Bridge Construction projects throughout the state of NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYC DDC, NYC Transit/MTA, & Other agency.
The selected candidate will inform the CM team by observing and reporting on construction activities, inspect work & traffic control performed by contractor to ensure compliance with project plans, effectively coordinating and collaborating with the project team members, and providing documentation and inspection activities for various water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections of road and bridge construction projects
- Monitor contractor activities and traffic control for compliance
- Document construction progress and inspection findings
- Coordinate with construction management teams and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
Successful candidates should possess the following experience & certification(s):
- Minimum 3 years’ experience performing construction inspection
- NICET Highway Construction Level II, III or IV (preferred)
- ACI Field Testing Grade I (preferred)
- OSHA 10 or 30 HRS Course
