Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Programmer & Setup Machinist located in Oshkosh, WI. The role involves interpreting and creating technical drawings, developing CNC programs for both new and existing parts, setting up and operating CNC machines, and performing quality checks on machined components. The position requires collaboration with team members to optimize production processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality precision components.
Qualifications
- CNC Programming skills to create and modify machine code either in Mastercam or at the control
- Proficiency in Milling or Turning, with experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines
- Strong ability to interpret and work with Technical Drawings
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience with secondary operations, such as grinding or heat treating, is a plus
- Familiarity with a range of materials, including metals and plastics, is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Technical or vocational education in machining, CNC programming, or a related field is preferred but not required
