Responsibilities include assisting Marketing Director and Outreach Coordinator in the development of specific marketing and communications materials, including:
The successful Intern will be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program at a college or university, interested in pursuing a career in Marketing & Communications. Candidates must be in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 overall GPA). Candidates will be screened for relevant qualifying experience that consists of an evaluation of education and experience. The most competitively qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the selection process. The selection process may include a combination of written, performance, and oral examinations. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam, including a drug test, and a criminal background investigation, which will include Live Scan fingerprinting. Position Purpose
Responsibilities include assisting Marketing Director and Outreach Coordinator in the development of specific marketing and communications materials, including:
- Conceive, create and promote customer education video series.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of agency social media promotions
- Work on the establishment, promotion, and outreach of new Students in Transit Advisory Council.
- Work with Marketing team to plan and produce marketing communication materials
- Confer with relevant stakeholders in development of materials
- Develop a budget and timeline for project and materials
- Assist in procuring goods and services as required to produce materials
- Participate in weekly marketing section planning sessions
- Assist with daily administrative duties
- Provide input on marketing communications strategies
- Create editorial calendar with trending topics for social media channels and schedule content
- Perform market research of competitor marketing materials and trends. Assist at community outreach events
- Write articles for agency blog
- Shoot and edit photos/videos for marketing materials and channels
- Adobe Suite software (Photoshop, Premiere Pre, Light Room, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Canva
- Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel)
