What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Control Monitor - Annapolis Junction, MD position at Omniplex?
POSITION SUMMARY
This Full Time position provides Access Control and Escort support for a classified facility. The hours of coverage currently available are for the mid-day shift supporting the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm on a Monday-Friday basis. (There maybe a requirement to cover 5:30 am -3:30pm shifts)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have the required Full Scope Polygraph that is current and can be verified.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two (2) years of access control and/or security officer experience.
- Read, speak, and understand English language fluently.
- Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
- Successfully pass an employment physical.
- Successfully pass all training and obtain required certifications.
- Successfully pass criminal record and credit report checks.
- Successfully complete a security interview.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
