Role Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on selling reciprocating engines, compressors, parts, and services while collaborating closely with technical and internal teams to deliver effective, value-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of reciprocating engines, compressors, parts, and service solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Understand customer operations and identify opportunities to solve operational challenges
- Develop and execute account and territory growth strategies
- Partner with technical sales and service teams to ensure successful execution
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in CRM
- Travel approximately 70% within the assigned territory
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or High School diploma/GED with 7 years of sales experience
- 10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience with a focus on sales origination
- Strong knowledge of oilfield operations, production facilities, and compression systems
- Experience with reciprocating compressors and engines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
