Responsibilities:
- Review and see to completion preparation of federal and state individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns of varying complexities
- Build and manage client relationships
- Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
- Apply technical expertise to a client’s business and tax planning needs
- Manage IRS examinations and correspondence
- Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Assist with new business development
- Thoroughly research tax issues and effectively communicate the results of your research
- Assist in the administration of our firm
Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 6 or more years of public accounting experience with at least 3 or more years supervising tax staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with clients
- Ability to work well in a team environment
