We help manufacturers evaluate reimbursement potential for new assets, design and translate HEOR studies, develop and validate product value platforms, respond to health policy changes, understand and support organizational customers, and formulate strategies to ensure products can break through market access barriers to get to patients.

The Director, Strategic Planning conducts in-depth research with payer key decision makers regarding access and reimbursement of pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as an organizational B2B market expert
- Build and maintain relationships with leading thinkers, from health plans to PBMs to specialty pharmacy and employers
- Responsible for client relationships from project initiation to competitive industry analysis, consulting, and data mining
- Leads and conducts ongoing market research
- Stays abreast of business and policy healthcare trends affecting both payers and providers
- Responsible for business development efforts for consultative projects
- Creates thought leadership content for client dissemination
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive U.S. payer experience in payer marketing and/or account management
- Strong experience in strategic insights in the payer market
- Extensive contacts with key decision makers within pharmaceutical health plans and insurance companies
- Strong communication and strategic thinking capabilities
- Market analysis and insights reporting
- Qualitative research techniques
- Health economic communications
- US &/or Global brand planning and value proposition development
- Experience at either health plan provider or pharmaceutical company in a similar role
- Minimum of 10 years total pharmaceutical experience with 3 to 4 years on the payer side

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
