POSITION DESCRIPTION: Welder/ Production OEM Division
DEPARTMENT / DIVISION: PRODUCTION

JOB SUMMARY:

An individual to weld and fabricate OEM parts for hydraulic, power generation and cooling systems. Work is performed to OEM specifications. Omni is ISO 9001 registered facility.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Weld primary TIG, occasional MIG and laser welding (Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel).
• Brazing
• Use and fabricate fixtures as needed
• Use metal cut saw
• Use machinery and assist in the fabrication of bent tubes
• Ensure material and equipment are stored in the correct location in a safe place
• Perform pressure testing as required
• Assist other work areas as necessary
• Opportunities to CNC bend and learn CMM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Formal welding training such as BOSES or equivalent

- Able to read blue prints

-Strong organization skills required

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

-High School diploma or equivalent

COMPENSATION:

Based on experience

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
• Pipe Threading: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Welding Certification (Required)
