This role is pivotal to growing Omni Remodeling through events and retail outreach. You’ll be the face of our company in the community—driving appointment volume and strengthening our brand in key markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Event Marketing Specialist include (but are not limited to):
Drive Lead Generation & Appointment Setting at Events
· Engage event attendees using the Omni Selling Process to qualify prospects and generate leads
· Set qualified, self-set in-home consultation appointments while the customer is present whenever possible
· Meet or exceed appointment-per-hour performance standards across all event types
· Accurately complete, verify, and secure lead cards to ensure quality and conversion
Represent the Brand with Professionalism & Consistency
· Maintain on-stage professionalism whenever identifiable with the company
· Present the brand as a trusted information source and sell the appointment, not the product
· Follow dress code, conduct standards, and compliance requirements
· Protect brand reputation by avoiding pricing estimates or misinformation
Set Up, Maintain, and Protect Event Displays
· Arrive early to set up and maintain a showroom-ready display
· Keep the booth clean, organized, and visually appealing throughout each shift
· Protect company assets using approved cleaning and handling procedures
· Tear down, store, and secure all materials at the end of each shift
Manage Event Operations, Reporting & Compliance
· Maintain accurate timekeeping using Paycom
· Communicate scheduling changes, coverage needs, and attendance issues promptly
· Complete end-of-shift reporting including lead and appointment counts
· Submit lead cards, mileage, expenses, and documentation accurately and on time
Meet Performance Standards & Participate in Coaching
· Achieve required appointment, conversion, and self-set benchmarks
· Participate in coaching, shadowing, and performance improvement plans as needed
· Apply training and feedback to continuously improve performance
· Follow SOPs to support team success and company growth goals
QUALIFICATIONS
· Comfortable engaging with the public and starting conversations in busy environments
· Strong communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed for displays
· Reliable transportation and ability to travel through MD/VA/DC
· Valid driver’s license
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
· Comfort working evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules
Preferred:
· Customer service, event, retail, or sales experience
· Lead generation, promotional, or brand ambassador experience

SALARY: $16-$18/hour incentive pay (commission)
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
