The Distributor Division works closely with distributors, integrators, and OEM partners to configure, quote, and support conveyor systems built around Omni products. This team focuses on scalable offerings, standardization, accurate proposals, and smooth handoffs from sales to engineering and manufacturing.
Position Overview
As a Strategic Account Manager – Catalog Programs, you will own and grow catalog customer programs by transforming them from transactional purchasing relationships into structured, scalable, program level partnerships.
This role is responsible for driving proactive catalog growth through increased adoption of standardized products and solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Leadership to strengthen standards, improve repeatability, and ensure Catalog offerings are easy for customers to understand, specify, and deploy.
The Strategic Account Manager – Catalog Programs serves as the primary owner of Catalog program strategy, performance, and continuous improvement. Success in this role comes from combining strong customer engagement with disciplined internal coordination and the effective use of modern tools—such as CRM systems, LinkedIn, sales intelligence platforms (e.g., Apollo.io), and AI enabled workflows—to improve insight, prioritization, and execution.
This is a strategic, hands on role based onsite in Alpena, Michigan, and plays a key part in positioning Catalog as a scalable, high performance growth engine within Omni Metalcraft’s Distributor Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead Catalog customer programs end to end with clear intent, priorities, and success measures
- Drive proactive engagement to expand utilization of standardized catalog products and solutions
- Develop and execute strategies that grow catalog revenue through repeatable, scalable programs
- Serve as the internal and external point of ownership for Catalog program strategy and performance
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Leadership to align standards and execution
- Identify gaps in catalog offerings, tools, or processes and work cross functionally to address them
- Transition Catalog accounts from transactional purchasing to deeper, program level engagement
- Use CRM, LinkedIn, sales intelligence tools (e.g., Apollo.io), and AI enabled workflows to improve prioritization and follow through
- Represent Omni Metalcraft professionally during customer meetings, site visits, and industry interactions
Skills Needed
- Strategic account or program level sales experience in a B2B environment
- Strong executive level communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to coordinate across technical, operational, and commercial teams
- Comfort operating with ownership, ambiguity, and long term objectives
- Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and engagement
- Disciplined, organized approach to program execution and follow through
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with catalog, standardized, or repeatable sales models
- Familiarity with industrial manufacturing or material handling environments
- Experience working with distributors, integrators, or channel partners
- Working knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT), LinkedIn, and Apollo.io
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of program level sales versus transactional selling
- Familiarity with B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Awareness of how engineered products move from quote to order to production

- Translate strategy into clear account and program plans
- Drive alignment and execution across departments without formal authority
- Use data and tools to prioritize the right opportunities at the right time
- Maintain momentum on long term initiatives while handling day to day demands
