Job description
Duties performing will be operating a sit-down forklift machine, stand-up forklift reach machine and a cherry picker.
Along with performing physical cycle counts, picking, packing, labeling, lifting and shrink-wrapping.
Job Description
The Operations Administrator will be in charge of several tasks related to several departments including (but not limited to) the Receiving Department, Traffic department, Value Added Service & Shipment Waving. The Ops admin will be responsible for creating Receipts for the Receiving team, requesting needed Purchase Orders & Sending Receive files. The Ops Admin will be responsible for coordinating pickups pickups, communicating deadlines with warehouse team & client to ensure all pickups are successfully completed. Ops admin will also be responsible for learning how to print UPC labels & Tickets for orders that require VAS. Ops admin will be responsible for creating Waves (order groups) for the warehouse team to complete according to SLA’s.
Routing orders through necessary portals to ensure orders are leaving on time according to our SLA’s
Work with WH team to ensure orders are being packed & labeled according to routing guides
Ensure we are filling out all Traffic Logs & consistently communicating with client to ship orders & to provide information needed
Consistently follow up with clients to coordinate the quickest pick up schedule feasible
Have strong communication with WH team, Supervisors and Ops Managers to ensure we are not missing any shipping dates or falling behind on SLA’s
Create Receipts in our WMS & provide Receiving Forms as soon as the packing lists are sent to us with scheduled delivery times
Send Receive confirmation files to clients the same day they are completely received.
Request Purchase Orders & necessary information from clients needed to successfully receive all inbound
Communicate any damages, shortages & overages with the client for next steps
Submit all billing necessary to the client same day Receipts are closed and completed
Have strong communication with Receiving Team & Operations Manager on priorities & expected inbounds for planning
Wave all orders according to their Order Type & Create, Start & or Ship date to successfully ship all orders within our SLA’s
Provide information needed to the Warehouse to successfully pack orders such as VAS or EDI needed
Communicate shortages to CS so they can reach out to the client for next steps

Operates various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, hand held scanner, box cutter, picking cart, desktop computer, scale, shrink wrap and baler).

Must be able to bend and lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for the entire shift.
Must be able and willing to frequently bend, squat, twist, push/pull to retrieve inventory and packing items throughout the shift
Must be able to work on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day with extensive lifting and pushing of heavy product
Exhibited good job performance and behavior as measured through indicators such as teamwork, attendance, quality and productivity, etc.
Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties effectively
Ability to be a self-starter, work effectively and independently
