This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist based in Fresno, CA. The Pharmacist will oversee the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, monitoring for drug interactions, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Pharmacist will also guide and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and pharmaceutical best practices
- Proficiency in assessing prescriptions, identifying potential drug interactions, and providing accurate counseling
- Capability to oversee and manage pharmacy staff, workflows, and operational processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of California
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in a community health or retail pharmacy setting is highly desirable
