What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker II position at Omiz Staffing Solutions (OSS)?
Must be licensed Wastewater Operator. Must hold a designated Pennsylvania wastewater operator license. Candidates from other states may be eligible if they can successfully complete the Pennsylvania state test. If candidate is close to completing a program they may be considered. Relocation is allowed but must be done at the candidate’s own expense.
Open to applicants from all industries. 7pm - 7am. Week 1 (36hrs): Mon, Thu, Fri; Week 2 (48hrs): Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun. Schedule will rotate, every other weekend off. Some OT may be offered Role does offer opportunity to learn about boiler, chillers operators, etc. • May be required to lift a certain amount about 50 lbs • They will be working with the following chemicals: Sodium aluminate, Citric Acid, Sulfuric acid, Hydrochloric Acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium thiosulfate, Micro C (Glycerin), wastewater containing trace amounts of thimerosal. We can provide SDS • They will be required to work on ladders however this will be limited when at all possible • Will operate forklifts and scissor lifts • They will be working with electricity: maintaining backup generators, installation of replacement pumps and motors • There are OSHA-related responsibilities and compliance requirements associated with this role: PaDEP NPDES and Industrial Wastewater Permits • Work schedule is 12-hour shifts, rotating weekly: week one would be 36 hours, week two would be 48 hours and there may be possible overtime : 8 hours OT one week, none the next week, based on a biweekly pay period • Required vaccinations are polio, hepatitis A and B, tetanus, and meningitis Must have experience: • Wastewater Operator License • Years of experience: 3-5 years of related experience

MUST HAVE Licensed Wastewater Operator
Main Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine root cause, repair/replace site wide equipment
• Preventive/Predictive Maintenance - Daily checks of GMP and non GMP equipment at the site
• Assist and support other employees performing preventive maintenance and /or repairs of site wide equipment
• Completion of work orders and time entries into the SAP system
• Completion of all assigned training modules, SOP’s, SWI’s, safety, and compliance requirements
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
• The employee is a member of a maintenance team that supports utilities at the Swiftwater site.
• The ability to multitask, troubleshoot, evaluate and repair utilities equipment is critical to the success of this role and the maintenance department. This position requires the employee to work on intricate and site-specific equipment and systems.
• The employee monitors utility areas to provide reliable, safe, and efficient equipment operation and uptime.
Requirements
Education/experience
• The employee is expected to have a minimum of high school diploma and a working knowledge of industrial and/or process equipment.
Preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial and process equipment including but not limited to the following:
• Air Handling Unit Operations
• Tensioning of belts and alignment
• Bearing replacement
• Knowledge of VFD’s, VAV’s,
• Knowledge of steam principals
• JCI Metasys Systems
• Electronics
• PLC’s
• Pump repairs, rebuilds, replacement
• Motor replacement and alignment
• Schematics and the ability to read blueprints
• Electricity including single phase
• Boilers, Chilled water systems, cooling towers
• Replacement of valves and piping system repair
• Capable of learning basic chemistry analysis
Required 3-6 years of experience
Certifications
MUST HAVE Licensed Wastewater Operator License
• Associate degree in a specific trade program is preferred/High School Diploma
