JOB SUMMARY:
As Payments & Billing Manager you will help drive the strategy, planning and execution of our payment processing initiatives and billing strategies to grow our subscription base. If you are process-driven, detail oriented, great at developing standards and documentations, and can take complete ownership of processes to get tasks completed, this is the role for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and drive payment processing and billing systems projects to completion.
- Coordinate the project requirements and goals between Development, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Business Intelligence, and Support.
- Work with external partners to deliver projects on time.
- High aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving through analysis in Excel as well as using AI platforms.
- Retrieve and analyze data via SQL.
- Identify and develop billing strategies using data and best practices to help maximize user retention and revenue.
- Identify, develop, and manage relations with payment processing partners.
- Contribute to continuous improvement to internal and external processes.
- Travel to external partners and attend industry conferences to adopt latest best practices, strategies, skills, and tools.

- Coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in Payments and/or Project Management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Quality-oriented with attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Possess competent technical skills.
- Must possess excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrably good judgment skills on when to seek guidance and when to escalate risks and issues.
- Experience in a matrixed organization working with multiple stakeholders per effort.
- Possess practical experience in the fundamentals of project management (estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning).
- Experience gathering development of requirements for complex solutions.
- Able to work independently and with impromptu teams under tight timetables and high-pressure situations, fluidly shift with changing priorities, and effectively handle ambiguity.
- Must be open to coaching and critical feedback.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Some SQL and/or scripting experience.
- CAPM or PMP
LOCATION:
- This is a hybrid position. Florida candidates preferred, though remote candidates will be considered.
