Job Brief
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to help us maintain smooth operations and ensure our products reach customers safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, components, and industrial parts
- Verify shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders
- Prepare and package heavy-duty equipment and crane components for outbound shipments
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other industrial material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping/receiving area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, part numbers, and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
