About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our creative team and support the design of trend-driven handbags and accessories for kids and tweens. This role is perfect for a motivated designer who loves fast-paced environments, playful design, and bringing ideas to life from concept through production.
You’ll contribute across multiple categories—handbags, backpacks, hair accessories, hats, cold weather, slippers, cozy apparel, slippers, sleepwear, hydration, stationary, charms and key seasonal collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop on-trend accessories under the direction of the Creative Director / CEO.
- Contribute to seasonal concepts, trend boards, and coordinated line development.
- Translate children’s trends, silhouettes, and print direction into fresh, commercial designs.
- Create accurate, detailed tech packs and maintain updates through production.
- Work with diverse materials, embellishments, and custom OMG fabrications.
- Adapt existing graphics and prints across categories to maintain brand consistency.
- Communicate closely with overseas vendors regarding materials, specs, and design intent.
- Collaborate with the team daily from concept through final production.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- 4 years of experience in fashion design—accessories or children’s fashion preferred.
- Strong background in overseas product development, sourcing, costing, and QC.
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills (mandatory).
- Technical knowledge of accessory construction and ability to build comprehensive tech packs.
- Great color sense, print development ability, and trend awareness.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment.
