Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Accessories / Graphic Designer at H.E.R. Accessories in New York, NY.
Qualifications
- Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
- Technical design experience
- Experience in licensed consumer products / accessories design is a plus.
- Resourceful self-starter, who knows how to get things done both independently and collaboratively.
- Packaging design experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritize work without missing critical deadlines.
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Must be able to work in a fast output start-up environment, and meet tight deadlines while paying attention to details.
- Located within commuting distance to NYC
Responsibilities:
- Develop product and packaging from conception through to final production for existing brands and areas of expansion.
- Create item line sheets and customer presentations.
- Set up artwork for production and review samples for accuracy.
- Communicate with factories overseas.
- Monitor projects through all stages to ensure creative excellence is upheld and the highest quality product possible is hitting the shelf.
- Shop the market, find the white space and bring new innovation to the table.
- Stay up to date on our licensed brands and market trends to aid in product development.
