Position Summary:


We are currently seeking an Associate Financial Advisor who is already engaged in the financial planning/wealth management  industry, and is dedicated to helping take our company to the next level. This position requires a goal-oriented, self-motivated and professional person who is ready to lead client relationships . The primary responsibility will be helping to service existing client relationships on behalf of our company and support the Senior  & Lead Advisors in working with more complex client families. Interest and experience in working with women clients, and clients in transition is a plus. All candidates should demonstrate a level of professional demeanor and ability to follow operational processes and procedures. Candidates interested in future business ownership welcomed.


General Responsibilities:


·        Review/prepare appointment meeting materials for client meetings.

·        Must have strong technology skills and familiarity with industry related technology and visual tools.

·        Oversee preparation of proper planning agreements, forms, and applications for new client and existing client meetings.

·        Conduct research and analysis as requested by Senior & Lead Advisors.

·        Assist in financial life plan creation including data input, plan review, qualitative summary, presentation to client.

·        Serve as a back up to the Senior & Lead Advisors in communicating with clients.

·        Create investment recommendations as directed.

·        Perform planning & investment research as needed.

·        Assist Senior Advisor & OWM Service Team with appointment follow-up.

·        You will report to the Director of Client Experience.



Requirements/Qualifications:


·        Professional and knowledgeable demeanor.

·        Experience leading portions of client meetings/strong interaction with clients preferred

·        Enthusiasm for financial planning, with a strong interest in learning about life planning.

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher.

·        CFP designation required

·        Excellent knowledge of and experience in the securities industry, regulations, financial planning and investment management.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·        High EQ, high touch approach.

·        Ability to identify, adapt to, meet and follow through with client’s needs and requirements.

·        Familiarity and ideally, proficiency with Emoney, Money Guide Pro, Holisitplan, and PreciseFP

·        Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.

·        Comfortable in a fast-paced (at times), growth-oriented environment.

·        Must interact effectively with office staff and be a goal-oriented team player.

·        Attention to detail and a curiosity for finding solving problems.

·        Must demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills.
