A pool repair technician is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Assess: Regularly inspect and assess the condition of pool equipment and water quality.
- Water Chemistry: Test and adjust pool water chemical levels to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Cleaning: Clean and maintain pool filters, pumps, and other equipment. Remove debris from pool water using nets and cleaning tools.
- Repairs: Perform minor and major repairs on pool equipment. This can include fixing leaks, cracks, and faulty equipment.
- Installation: Install new pool equipment and systems, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and pool lights.
- Client Interaction: Provide clients with guidance on pool maintenance tasks they can perform themselves. Communicate with clients about pool conditions and the work performed.
- Record Keeping: Document all pool maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment necessary for pool maintenance and repair12.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a pool technician is often preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Technical knowledge of pool cleaning and maintenance practices, including equipment and chemical use.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a positive attitude

Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week
