What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Omega Moulding?
Omega is a well established company offering a great opportunity due to the continued high demand for Home Decorating products. Our industry is one where face to face meetings are a necessity, therefore not easily replaced by new AI technology. We are seeking an energetic Outside Sales professional with a highly competitive attitude. This sales territory covers the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island. This is a comfortable established territory with a large future growth potential supported by a local distribution point, deliveries to our customers via company trucks, along with other strategic shipping options, and regular new product line introductions make us a leader in the market.
Omega Moulding is a national wholesaler of fine quality picture framing products, providing mouldings of outstanding artisanship since 1968. We sell to retail, wholesale, internet based and contract picture framers. We believe that hard working good people are the key to our future.
The ideal Outside Sales Representative MUST demonstrate the following qualities:
- Confidence, with the ability to be assertive and demonstrate tenacity
- Must have Outside Sales Experience
- Comfortable calling on a Retail and Wholesale customer base that offers real growth potential
- Background in any of the following areas is a plus; Picture Framing, The Art Industry, Home Décor, Architectural Design, Interior Design.
- Experience managing and effectively servicing a customer base containing several hundred customers.
- Outside Sales responsibilities include:
- Daily sales presentations and follow up visits with customers. This will be achieved through efficiently routing your territory and scheduling appointments
- Developing and Implementing a sales strategy based on daily / weekly report analysis
- Familiarity with performing prospect searches using social media outlets to expand customer base
