- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Accurately take off structure square footage, volume of concrete, asphalt, steel, and debris
- Populate Excel spreadsheets with quantities
- Coordinate internal bid reviews
- Secure subcontractor quotes
- Meet project deadlines
- Investigate new opportunities
- Superior organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to easily transition between tasks and problem-solving
- Works well under pressure and able to meet deadlines efficiently
- Possess working knowledge of the construction bidding process
- Competent with Microsoft Office, word, excel, internet software, Bluebeam, email, and
- 5 years of work experience in the construction/demolition industry as an estimator
