What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at OMC Smokehouse?
OMC Smokehouse line cooks work in a team oriented atmosphere in a high volume kitchen preparing a variety of foods. The main job is to prepare high quality food in a quick and efficient manner , by being able to multi task and coordinate hot foods and cold foods within minutes from the time the order is received. During rush periods cooks receive dozens of orders in the kitchen. Cooks are responsible to keep track of these orders and make sure they are prepared in sync with the other cooks on the line. Cooks must juggle several tasks while ensuring quality standards are observed. We are a passionate bunch of people with the goal of providing every guest with the same upstanding experience and have a great time while we do just that. We look forward to adding you to the team.
Our kitchen staff receive 5% of food sales resulting in a pay rate of $18 - $25 dollars per hour with base hourly wage included.
