Replenishment Forklift Operator

Location: 11340 S 153rd St, Omaha, NE 68138, USA

Job Summary:

Responsible for the safe transport of product by forklift to the appropriate storage location in the freezer. Pulls pallets from overstock racks and places them in select racks or fulfillment staging area. Operates both a traditional and Bendi forklift in a safe manner and follows all safety guidelines.

Essential job duties include:

• Transports product via forklift from the receiving dock to the appropriate location in the freezer. Drops pallets from overstock racks to select racks. Transports pallets from freezer to the fulfillment staging area. Follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
• Responsible for counting inventory and proper rotation of stock, maintaining and ensuring proper presentation of box by carefully transporting product within Central Fulfillment.
• Responsible for proper inspection and safe use of power equipment.
• Visually inspects product packaging for holes, cleanliness and other defects that may result in customer receipt of damaged goods or unsightly product.
• Performs other duties assigned.
• Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years Forklift experience and Bendi experience
• Experience working in a freezer environment preferred.

• 6 months experience with inventory and order selection.

• Must be able to speak and understand English for the purpose of radio communication.

• Must be able to understand and follow directions accurately

• Close attention to detail required when selecting inventory items, inspecting packages and dealing with inventory levels, product codes and pulling orders

• Manuel dexterity and eye/hand coordination are required in all aspects of performing the job.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Standing/Walking required throughout the work day
• Visual Acuity required to discern letters or numbers at a given distance
