The Guest Services team performs a variety of duties while adhering to O-pa Core Values of Collaboration, Inclusion, Trust, and Integrity.
Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Operates walkthrough magnetometers, inspects any bags entering the facility, and ensures prohibited items do not make it inside the facility
- Scans several different ticket types and directs any guests with ticketing issues to the management team OR a box office representative
- Promotes upgraded experience opportunities to guests as they enter the facility
- Helps patrons navigate the building by being familiar with key locations within the facility
- Performs ID checks and wristband patrons wanting to purchase alcohol.
- Monitors exit doors to prevent reentry and alcoholic beverages from leaving the venue
- Works with other departments on closing procedures to ensure the building is clean, orderly and ready for the next event.
- Attends any required development/training sessions.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have internet access for digital performance sign-up as well as a valid email account for digital correspondence
- Must work well in a fast-paced team environment, while maintaining a degree of composure and professionalism.
- Highly effective oral communication skills with a variety of patrons
- Comfortable working for both indoor and outdoor venues.
- Able to assist with large crowds safely and effectively
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Requires acute hearing when providing patron service and advising of time constraints
- Must be able to work in a loud and noisy environment
- May be required to lift up to 10 pounds
