What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Supervisor position at Olympic Regional Development Authority?
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Building Maintenance Supervisor, the Parking Supervisor oversees all Parking Attendants and organizes the maintenance of parking lots at Whiteface during the winter operation season.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily assignment of Parking Attendant duties, to maximize staff coverage in all open parking lots
- Train and direct Parking Attendants, promoting friendly and helpful service to guests
- Keep walkways clean, free of snow and ice
- Help coordinate a plow plan when snow is predicted, plow when needed
- Work with Building Maintenance staff to help with snow shoveling
- Keep fire hydrants and drains clean from snow and ice
- Assist customers with car trouble, such as jump starting, pulling or pushing stuck vehicles
- Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
Skills and Qualifications:
- Supervisory and snowplow experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions including weekends and holidays.
- Be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, including the ability to lift 30 lbs
Wage/Salary:
This position is identified as a Grade 13 on the ORDA/CSEA schedule with an entry rate of $23.15 per hour.
