What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Tech position at Olympic Hot Tub Co?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service hot tubs at customers homes using provided cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on hot tubs.
- Reporting any damages or issues to management.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and discuss any issues or concerns they may have in a professional manner.
- Maintain a detailed record of services provided and keep track of inventory and supplies.
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Working with basic hand tools and light power tools to perform minor repairs to accessory items attached to the hot tub.
- Occasional delivery and installation of replacement hot tub covers, and accessories is also required.
Requirements:
- Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current, valid, Washington State driver’s license with no more than one minor moving violation during the previous three years.
This position is supplied a company van with tools, fuel card, works from home, and works outdoors in all weather conditions. Will have the opportunity to acquire a specialty electrician’s license and potential to become outside service tech through the accrual of training hours, company paid Continuing Education courses, and successful completion of state required testing.

No prior hot tub experience needed. We’ll train you. Good people skills a plus. Looking for candidates in South & East King County and North Pierce County.
Pay range is $20.76 to $21.00 PLUS a tired percentage of the total eligible revenue ranging from 4%-6%.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to master diagnostic and repair techniques
- Able to analyze information, develop courses of action, & produce accurate reports
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively using English
- Able to solve problems using critical thinking skills
- Possess intermediate math skills for water care adjustments and inventory management
- Able to successfully manage and follow up on multiple simultaneous projects
- Able to stand for long periods, kneel, stoop, bend, reach, etc.
- Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
- Able to use a computer and various business software including Outlook and Excel
- Able to safely operate hand tools and light power tools
- Able to safely operate company vehicle
- Must possess a current, valid, Washington State driver’s license with no more than one minor moving violation during the previous three years.
