What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOUSEKEEPING PAPER BALER OPERATOR BACKUP position at Olsten?
OLSTEN STAFFING IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A HOUSEKEEPER / PAPER BALER BACKUP OPERATOR IN THE FLORENCE AREA. PAY RAT $16.80 PER HOUR. WORK HOURS ARE 7AM - 3.30PM MON - FRI.
Housekeeping Responsibilities :
Maintain the cleanliness of all Restrooms, Breakrooms, and Front Office areas. This includes sweeping,
mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning all counters and tables. All general Housekeeping / Janitorial duties as required.
Collect / empty trash from offices, restrooms, and breakroom on a daily basis.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderly condition of the outside facility entrance at the front main entrancedoors and walkways and the outside facility entrance at the employee main entrance doors and walkways.
Provide assistance as required to set up tables and other necessities that may be required for specialguests or events.
Other duties as assigned (may include assisting others in the manufacturing area).
Paper Baler Responsibilities : (back-up)
Make rounds as needed through production and warehouse, empty all trash and scrap containers at each work- station and deliver to baler or outside scrap bins, recycle bins or dumpster as required.
Periodically make rounds and pick up all skids, ply-board, cartons and return to proper place.
Operate paper baler; affix wires to bales and use hoist to lift.
Stack bales in storage area using hoist or forklift.
Load truck periodically with completed bales, keep accurate count of bales picked up according to weight and kind of paper.
Place completed materials on skids, carts, or boxes as required.
Operates forklift as required in a safe manner.
Education / Experience / Skill Requirements :
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Experience in a manufacturing / production environment is preferred.
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
