We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented associates to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Janitor will perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the school facility, ensuring all areas are well-kept and sanitary.

Pay Details: $13.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented associates to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Janitor will perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the school facility, ensuring all areas are well-kept and sanitary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.).
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Dust and clean furniture, windows, ledges, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Set up and clean areas for special events, meetings, or activities.
- Monitor and report repairs or maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, water leaks, etc.).
- Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies; notify supervisor when stock needs replenishment.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures follow health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Lock and unlock doors as necessary and assist with school security protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial/janitorial experience, especially in a school or similar setting, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks (bending, walking, standing, etc.).
- Good communication skills and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Must pass background checks and comply with school district policies.
- Work is performed inside and outside the school facility.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures.
