Our Project Managers adhere to high standards and serve a critical role as part of our 5-person team and is integral in the execution and product we deliver to our clients. Typical duties performed include:

Job Requirements and Duties:

·     Strong project management skills

·     Strong communication skills - both verbal & written

·     Strong computer skills

·     Develop relationships with clients and trade partners

·     Ability to negotiate pricing with trades and vendors

·     Great listening skills & creative problem solving

·     Review construction plans

·     Ability to understand and determine site needs for building

·     Experience calculating build position on the lot, foundation settings, and beam and header sizes

·     Extensive use of various software, including plan redlining software

·     Strong attention to detail to review client contracts

·     Create portfolio and job schedules and manage resource constraints

·     Portfolio and job budget management (creating job budgets)

·     Quality control administration for work performed in office and in the field

·     Understand, review, and assign the scopes of work for construction trades

·     Manage Trade Partner and Vendor pricing

·     Review and approval/denial of client-requested change orders

·     Coordinate job starts to balance work in progress for the team’s portfolio

·     Project/Portfolio reconciliations and close out with reporting

Education/Preferred Experience:

·     High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience, college degree preferred

·     5-10 years of residential construction experience

·     Construction software experience, including takeoff software

·     Building industry experience and building code knowledge

·     Project Management and Portfolio Management experience

·     Strong analytical and organizational skills

·     Attention to details

·     Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000-$60,000.per year
