- Excellent computer skills, Medical Terminology experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required

- Detail-oriented and accurate
- General knowledge of accounts receivable preferred
- Minimum of one year registration and scheduling experience
- Completes all demographic and registration requirements in Epic.
- Submits subscriber and insurance information to real time eligibility (RTE) vendor for insurance coverage verification.
- Sets up insurance utilizing Epic system
- Answers patient questions including scheduling, registration and insurance concerns.
- Reviews visit type information and appointment indication to complete estimate for self-pay patients.
- Participates actively in department meetings.
- Initiates estimate inquiry with call center and prior authorization team.
- Creates estimate letter and mails to self-pay account patients.
- Remains calm and de-escalates crucial conversations.
- Attends education and training seminars.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $21 - $26
