THIS IS A PROVISIONAL, TEMPORARY SIX (6) MONTH POSITION. Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.Individuals will be required to complete a pre-employment and any potential post-accident drug test as these positions are deemed safety sensitive. Regardless of Minnesota statute, marijuana and other drugs will disqualify individuals from initial and continued employment.Desirable Qualifications: Experience in the operation and servicing of light to medium mowing equipment and one (1) year of experience in grounds keeping, building maintenance or related position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, assists with park maintenance, operating equipment, cleaning buildings and performing minor building repairs. Operation of the equipment involves the manipulation of the controls and attachments and includes routine care and maintenance of the equipment in the field.
